Rafael Leão, widely regarded as one of AC Milan's greatest legends, has made a significant impact on the club throughout his illustrious career. Throughout his time with the Rossoneri, he amassed a total of 259 assists in various competitions, making him the fifth-highest assist provider in the history of the club.

Leão began his professional footballing journey at Sporting CP in Portugal before moving to Italy to play for Sampdoria and then Inter Milan. He joined AC Milan in 1997 and quickly established himself as a key player for the team, scoring 64 goals and providing 83 assists during his six-year spell with the club.

In 2003, Leão returned to Sampdoria, where he played until 2007, contributing significantly to their success. During this period, he scored 53 goals and provided 59 assists, helping the team reach the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.

His most notable achievement came in the 2003–04 season when he was named the Serie A Player of the Year after scoring 35 goals and providing 27 assists. His efforts were rewarded with the Golden Shoe award, which is given annually to the top scorer in Italian football.

Throughout his career, Leão demonstrated exceptional skill, strength, and leadership qualities that have earned him a place in the hearts of many Milan fans.
